·               Created search utility to determine if personal identity and similar type information was exposed during search. This aided in complying with regulations requiring notification of security breach to the affected parties.

·               Created a Fraudulent Detection Monitor that validated LN client that the client’s access to LN was made from the proper IP address. This aided in access breach detection, such as someone using a stolen LN ID and attempting to steal another person’s information.

·               Created a Fraudulent Detection Notifier that sent messages to control center whenever a breach is found recorded. ·               Wrote conversion software using PL/1 and VSAM in a MVS environment to change vendor data format to the common Lexis-Nexis format.   Managed the Windows NT/2000 data collection system that was written in Perl 5 for the department, including collection script installation.  Used MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access during conversion and for documentation.  Visual Basic, TSO/ISPF, Roscoe, QuikJOB, IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IEFBR14, Sablime, and MS Visual SourceSafe also used.

·         Increased productivity of the department by creating 100% of the generic data collection routines in Perl 5 for use in Windows NT/2000, utilizing CPAN modules whenever possible. This resulted in decreasing the development time for all collection software creation.

·         Administered the department's community Windows NT/2000 workstations, including all software installation – in house and third party, which reduced internal security problems.

·         Wrote generic web data collection routines for Unix (Perl and shell) and Windows NT/2000
(Perl) that allowed other applications to collect data from the web utilizing CPAN modules whenever possible. This resulted in reduced development time and increased data collection capabilities.

·         Led many Formal Reviews for code written in PL/1, C++, and Perl for evaluation of errors
and for meeting acceptance criteria. Also led Formal Reviews for documents written in MS Word.

Corporate Programmer Analyst

·         Created 80% of the Sales Office Automated Quotation System, which increased customer
sales by reducing quote development time 67%, and by providing parametric DURCO pump drawings.  This was written on a CICS/VSE2 system in a Total/Supra database environment using Mantis, Cobol and PL/1. The Sales Office Order System interfaced with the EDI System.
 

·         Wrote 100% of the pricing module for GP3 (Global Pump Pricing) using Delphi for Windows.
 

·         Designed and developed the database support concept for GP3 using Paradox, resulting in increased flexibility in data updates for the program.  This application utilized the Borland Database Engine.

 

·         Supported GP3 internationally, including Europe, Asia, and Australia.

 

·         Supported/wrote various financial, HR, sales order, shipping, MRP, and other programs for manufacturing in COBOL, PL/1 and Mantis.
